What you need to bring with you when you vote:

If you are on the voters list:

In order to vote, a person who is on the Voters’ List will be required to provide identification – anything that satisfies the DRO that the person is who s/he says s/he is – drivers’ license, health card, membership card, a couple of credit cards. Picture ID is great, but we don’t insist on picture ID because not everyone has it. The Voter Notification Card is not considered identification.

If you are NOT on the voters list:

A person who is not on the Voters’ List will be required to provide proof of Canadian Citizenship – Canadian birth certification, passport, citizenship card or veterans’ card, and proof of qualifying address – driver’s license, new health card, property tax bill, utility bill, etc.
